Behold the birds of the air: they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them.

Consider the ravens; for they neither sow nor reap; neither have store-house nor barn: yet God feedeth them. How much better are ye than the birds?

in that he did good, giving rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling their hearts with food and gladness.

That ye may be the children of your Father who is in heaven; for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sendeth rain on the just and the unjust.

For in him we live and move, and have our being; as certain likewise of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

And in the evening his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past: send the multitude away, that going into the villages, they may buy themselves victuals. But Jesus said to them, They need not go: give ye them to eat. They say to him, We have here but five loaves and two fishes.read more.
He said, Bring them hither to me. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass; and taking the five loaves and the two fishes, looking up to heaven, he blessed and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they all ate and were satisfied: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. And they that had eaten were about five thousand, beside women and children.

And when the day was now far spent, the disciples coming to him said, This is a desert place, and it is now late. Send them away, that they may go into the country and villages round about, and buy themselves bread; for they have nothing to eat. He answered and said to them, Give ye them to eat. And they say to him, Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat?read more.
He saith to them, How many loaves have you? Go and see. And when they knew, they said, Five, and two fishes. And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies on the green grass. And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds and by fifties. And taking the five loaves, and the two fishes, looking up to heaven, he blessed, and gave them to the disciples to set before them: and he divided the two fishes among them all. And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments and of the fishes. And they that had eaten of the loaves, were about five thousand men.

And the day began to decline. And the twelve coming to him said, send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country round about, and lodge and find victuals: for we are here in a desert place. But he said to them, give ye them to eat. And they said, we have no more than five loaves and two fishes, except we should go and buy meat for all this people. For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down, by fifties in a company.read more.
And they did so, and made them all sit down. Then taking the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude. And they all ate and were satisfied, and there were taken up of fragments that remained twelve baskets full.

Jesus then lifting up his eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming to him, saith to Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? (But this he said, trying him; for he himself knew what he intended to do.) Philip answered him, Two hundred penny-worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that each of them may take a little.read more.
One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith to him, Here is a lad, who hath five barley-loaves and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? Jesus said, Make the men sit down. (Now there was much grass in the place) So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. Then Jesus calling his disciples to him said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I am not willing to send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way. And his disciples say to him, Whence should we have so much bread in a wilderness, as to satisfy so great a multitude? And Jesus saith to them, How many loaves have you?read more.
They said, Seven, and a few small fishes. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass. And taking the seven loaves and the fishes, he gave thanks and brake them and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they all ate and were satisfied, and they took up of the fragments that remained seven baskets full. And they that had eaten were four thousand men, besides women and children.

In those days, the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus calling his disciples saith to them, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat. And if I send them away fasting to their own home, they will faint by the way; for divers of them come from far.read more.
And his disciples answered him, Whence can one satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness? And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven. And my God shall supply all your need, according to his riches in glory through Christ Jesus.

Ye cannot serve God and Mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take not thought for your life, what ye shall eat, nor for the body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the birds of the air: they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? And which of you by taking thought can add to his age the smallest measure?read more.
And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now: if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the still, will he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take not thought, saying, What shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or what shall we wear? (For after all these things do the heathens seek) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye need all these things, But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

And he said to his disciples, Therefore I say to you, Take no thought for your life what ye shall eat, neither for the body what ye shall put on. And which of you by taking thought, can add the least measure to his age? If ye then be not able to do that which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? But seek ye the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Who are kept by the power of God thro' faith unto salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time.

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee, from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon the whole world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

As his divine power hath given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, thro' the knowledge of him that hath called us by glory and virtue,

Therefore let none glory in men; for all things are yours: Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas; or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come, all are yours, And ye are Christ's, and Christ is God's.

And ye are filled by him, who is the head of all principality and power.

There hath no temptation taken you, but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above your ability, but will with the temptation make also a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Therefore take not thought, saying, What shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or what shall we wear? (For after all these things do the heathens seek) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye need all these things, But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

And seek not ye, what ye shall eat or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of a doubtful mind. For the nations of the world seek all these things; and your Father knoweth that ye need these things. But seek ye the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.

Give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall they give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete with, it shall be measured to you again.

And this I say, He that soweth sparingly, shall reap also sparingly; and he that soweth bountifully, shall reap also bountifully: Let every man do as he chuseth in his heart, not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a chearful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that having always all sufficiency in all things, ye may abound to every good work:read more.
(As it is written, He hath scattered abroad, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness remaineth for ever. And may he who supplieth seed to the sower, and bread for your food, supply and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness:) Being inriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which worketh by us thanksgiving to God.

But I have all things, and abound: I am filled, having received of Epaphroditus the things which came from you, an odour of a sweet smell, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God.

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness, and forbearance, and long suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
