And branding [of captives by the scorching heat] instead of beauty.
Also they shall not shave their heads, yet they shall not allow their hair to grow long; they shall only cut short or trim their hair.

For if a woman will not wear [a head] covering, then she should cut off her hair too; but if it is disgraceful for a woman to have her head shorn or shaven, let her cover [her head].
