Know therefore that the LORD your God, he is God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with them who love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations, and repays those who hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him who hates him, he will repay him to his face.

For the LORD will judge his people, and have compassion on his servants, when he sees that their power is gone, There is none remaining, shut up or left at large. He will say, "Where are their gods, The rock in which they took refuge; Which ate the fat of their sacrifices, And drank the wine of their drink offering? Let them rise up and help you. He who says he is in the light and hates his brother, is in the darkness even until now. He who loves his brother remains in the light, and there is no occasion for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in the darkness, and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who does not love remains in death. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him.

If a man says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.

Jesus said these things, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may also glorify you; even as you gave him authority over all flesh, he will give eternal life to all whom you have given him. There is stern discipline for one who forsakes the way: whoever hates reproof shall die.

"Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, for blessed are those who keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise. Do not refuse it. Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my door posts. read more.
For whoever finds me, finds life, and will obtain favor from the LORD. But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul. All those who hate me love death."

Wisdom calls aloud in the street. She utters her voice in the public squares. She calls at the head of noisy places. At the entrance of the city gates, she utters her words: "How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? How long will mockers delight themselves in mockery, and fools hate knowledge? read more.
Turn at my reproof. Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you. I will make known my words to you. Because I have called, and you have refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no one has paid attention; but you have ignored all my counsel, and wanted none of my reproof; I also will laugh at your disaster. I will mock when calamity overtakes you; when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when your disaster comes on like a whirlwind; when distress and anguish come on you. Then will they call on me, but I will not answer. They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me; because they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD. They wanted none of my counsel. They despised all my reproof. Therefore they will eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own schemes. For the backsliding of the simple will kill them. The careless ease of fools will destroy them.

"'You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.

Better is a dinner of herbs, where love is, than a fattened calf with hatred.

The bloodthirsty hate a man of integrity; and they seek the life of the upright.

Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all wrongs.

A malicious man disguises himself with his lips, but he harbors evil in his heart.

The fear of the LORD is to hate evil. I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth.

Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.

You who love the LORD, hate evil. He preserves the souls of his holy ones. He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it to eternal life.

For everyone who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his works would be exposed.

A dishonest man detests the righteous, and the upright in their ways detest the wicked.

A righteous man hates lies, but a wicked man brings shame and disgrace.

I hate and abhor falsehood. I love your Law.

My soul has had her dwelling too long with him who hates peace.
