Did not he tell me, 'She is my sister?' She, even she herself, said, 'He is my brother.' In the integrity of my heart and the innocence of my hands have I done this." The spirit of man is the LORD's lamp, searching all his innermost parts.

"Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy, but to fulfill.

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be. However, I would not have known sin, except through the law. For I would not have known coveting, unless the law had said, "You shall not covet."

Love does not harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.

But we know that the law is good, if a man uses it lawfully, as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their father or mother, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for men who have sexual relations with men, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;read more.

For in it is revealed God's righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, "But the righteous shall live by faith."

Behold, his soul is puffed up. It is not upright in him, but the righteous will live by his faith.

And Abram believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.

But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the Law and the Prophets; even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all those who believe. For there is no distinction, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;read more.

but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead, who was delivered up for our trespasses, and was raised for our justification.

Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;

What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, who did not follow after righteousness, attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith;

Even as Abraham "believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness."

and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself.

Then the King will tell those on his right hand, 'Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me.'

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.

Little children, let no one lead you astray. He who does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

but his delight is in the Law of the LORD. On his Law he meditates day and night.

He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully.

I delight to do your will, my God. Yes, your Law is within my heart."

I have taken your testimonies as a heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart. I have set my heart to perform your statutes forever, even to the end.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think on these things.

Set a watch, LORD, before my mouth. Keep the door of my lips.

Put away from yourself a perverse mouth. Put corrupt lips far from you.

Hear, for I will speak excellent things. The opening of my lips is for right things. For my mouth speaks truth. Wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are in righteousness. There is nothing crooked or perverse in them.

Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another.

For, "He who would love life, and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit.

He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does the LORD require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

It shall be righteousness to us, if we observe to do all this commandment before the LORD our God, as he has commanded us."

Blessed are those who uphold justice, who practice righteousness at all times.

To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

He who walks righteously, and speaks blamelessly; He who despises the gain of oppressions, who gestures with his hands, refusing to take a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of blood, and shuts his eyes from looking at evil? he will dwell on high. His place of defense will be the fortress of rocks. His bread will be supplied. His waters will be sure.

Herein I also practice always having a conscience void of offense toward God and men.

The LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant, Job? For there is none like him in the earth, a blameless and an upright man, one who fears God, and turns away from evil."

David reigned over all Israel; and David executed justice and righteousness to all his people.

Show me a sign of your goodness, that those who hate me may see it, and be shamed, because you, LORD, have helped me, and comforted me.

And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands. They shouted with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation be to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb." All the angels were standing around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne, and worshiped God,read more.
saying, "Amen. Blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen." One of the elders answered, saying to me, "These who are arrayed in white robes, who are they, and from where did they come?" So I said to him, "My lord, you know." He said to me, "These are the ones who came out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes, and made them white in the Lamb's blood. Therefore they are before the throne of God, they serve him day and night in his temple. He who sits on the throne will spread his tabernacle over them. They will hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither will the sun beat on them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shepherds them, and leads them to springs of waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
