Ephesians 5:25-32

Husbands, love your own wives even as Christ also loved the church, and delivered himself up for it, so that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it with the washing of water by the word, so that he might present it to himself, the glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and unblemished. read more.
So ought the husbands to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as also Christ the church, because we are parts of his body, of his flesh and of his bones. Separate from this a man will leave his father and mother behind, and will be bonded with his wife, and the two will be in one flesh. This mystery is great, but I speak for Christ and for the church.
