but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the world.

Therefore he said: "A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and then return.
having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs. For to which of the angels did God ever say, "You are my son, today I have begotten you"? And again, "I will be a father to him and he shall be a son to me"? And again, when God brings the first-born into the world, he says, "Let all God's angels worship him."
and if children, then heirsheirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him, in order that we may also be glorified with him.
that is, how the Gentiles are fellow heirs and members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.
So when God desired to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable character of his purpose, he interposed with an oath,
For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.
For if the inheritance is based on the law, it is no longer based on a promise; but God gave it to Abraham by a promise.
And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise.
The promise to Abraham and his descendants, that he would be heir of the world, was not through the law but through the righteousness of faith. For if those who are of the law are to be the heirs, faith has no value and the promise is void, because the law brings wrath, for where there is no law there is no transgression.read more.
