So when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed him.

So likewise, whoever of you does not give up all that he has cannot be my disciple.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

No soldier in active service gets entangled in civilian affairs, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him as a soldier.

Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor.

He must increase, but I must decrease.
