Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

but he said to them, "I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other cities also, because I was sent for this purpose."

But if I cast out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the good news of the kingdom of God is preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it.

And he has on his robe and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David. And he will reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there will be no end."

For David, after he had served the purpose of God in his own generation, fell asleep, and was laid with his fathers and saw decay; but he whom God raised did not see decay.

And Jesus said, while he taught in the temple, "How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the Son of David? and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David,

"Brethren, I may say to you confidently of the patriarch David that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. And so, because he was a prophet, and knew that God had sworn with an oath to him that he would set one of his descendants on his throne, he looked ahead and spoke of the resurrection of the Christ, that he was not abandoned to hades, nor did his flesh see decay.read more.
This Jesus God raised up again, and of that we are all witnesses. And after he had removed him, he raised up David to be their king; concerning whom he testified and said, 'I have found in David the son of Jesse a man after my heart, who will do all my will.' From this man's descendants God has brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus, as he promised.
