"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."

So husbands ought also to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the church, because we are members of his body. but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the world.

But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answered them, "Why are you reasoning in your hearts?

But Jesus did not trust himself to them, because he knew all men, and he had no need for anyone to bear witness of man, for he knew what was in man.

I and the Father are one."

Now may our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, direct our way to you;

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope by grace, comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word.

And, "You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands; they will perish, but you remain; they will all grow old like a garment, you will roll them up like a mantle; and like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end."

But of the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever, and the righteous scepter is the scepter of your kingdom.

who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.

He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, "Do you love me?" And he said to him, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my sheep.

Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."

No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from my Father."

looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,

"He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth belongs to the earth, and of the earth he speaks. He who comes from heaven is above all.

The first man was from the earth, of dust; the second man is from heaven.

But Jesus remained silent. And the high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the living God: tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God." Jesus said to him, "It is as you said. But I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven." All that the Father has is mine. Therefore I said that he will take of what is mine and declare it to you.

Thomas answered him, "My Lord and my God!"

Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which he purchased with the blood of his Own.

But Jesus answered them, "My Father is working still, and I am working."

that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.
