His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and excellence. By these he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may escape from the corruption that is in the world because of lust, and become partakers of the divine nature.

And all the crowd sought to touch him, for power came from him and healed them all.

And coming to his own country he taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, "Where did this man get this wisdom and these mighty works?

and he said to his servants, "This is John the Baptist, he has risen from the dead; that is why these powers are at work in him."

King Herod heard of it, for Jesus' name had become well known. Some said, "John the Baptist has been raised from the dead, and that is why these powers are at work in him."

And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that power had gone out from him, turned around in the crowd and said, "Who touched my clothes?"

But Jesus said, "Someone touched me; for I know that power has gone out from me."

And they were all amazed and said to one another, "What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!"

One day as he was teaching, there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present for him to heal.

how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how he went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

Blessed be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has caused us to be born again into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, kept in heaven for you, who are protected by God's power through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

And now I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name the name you gave me that they may be one, even as we are one.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The kings of the earth took their stand, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord and against his Christ.' For truly in this city there were gathered together against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, to do whatever your hand and your plan had predestined to take place. And now, Lord, look upon their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness, while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of your holy servant Jesus." And when they had prayed, the place where they were gathered together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God with boldness.

For the weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world, but they have divine power to destroy strongholds.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

being fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.

When we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weakened through the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin: he condemned sin in the flesh,

For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.'

And he said to them, "Truly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power."

But I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I will find out, not the words of these arrogant people, but their power. For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power.

and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith might not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.

And with great power the apostles gave their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.

But Saul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who lived at Damascus by proving that this Jesus is the Christ.

For I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me to win obedience from the Gentiles, by word and deed by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit, so that from Jerusalem and as far round as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power and love and self-discipline. So do not be ashamed to testify of our Lord or of me his prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God,

Then comes the end, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all rule and all authority and power.

And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them through him.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.

they will stand far off, in fear of her torment, and say, 'Woe, woe, the great city, the mighty city, Babylon! In one hour has your judgment come.'

By his power God raised the Lord, and he will also raise us up.

The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same nature, that through death he might destroy him who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.
