My promise is that he and his descendants will be priests for a very long time because he stood up for his God. He made peace with Jehovah for the Israelites.
See the Sovereign Lord Jehovah comes with power. His arm (power) rules for him. See, his reward is with him and his recompense accompanies him.
Jehovah has announced to the ends of the earth: Tell my people, Zion, your salvation is coming. His reward for us and recompense are with him.'
Those who have wisdom (insight) will shine like the brightness of the firmament. They turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.
Anyone who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet's reward. Anyone who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man will receive a righteous man's reward. And whoever gives a drink of cold water to one of these little ones because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will not lose his reward.
Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. More will be given to every one who has and he will have abundance. He who does not have will have every thing taken away.

What will a man give in exchange for his life?
Jesus then replied: If you wish to be complete, go sell your possessions and give the money to the poor. You will have wealth in heaven. Then follow me!
Peter said: Indeed we have left our own to follow you. Jesus said: Truly I tell you, no man has left house, or wife, or brother, or parents, or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who shall not receive manifold more now and in the age to come everlasting life.
I do not run without definite aim (purpose) and I do not fight like a man beating the air. But I discipline my body, and bring it into subjection, so that after I have preached to others I will not be disqualified.
You were at times publicly insulted and mistreated. Other times you were ready to join those who were being treated in this way. You shared the sufferings of prisoners. And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, did not receive the promise. God provided something better for us that they might not be made perfect without us.
Then Peter said: See, we have given up everything to follow you. What then will we have? Jesus replied: Truly I say to you, when all things are made new, and the Son of man is seated in his glory, you who have come after me will be seated on twelve seats, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
The Son of man will come in the glory of his Father with his angels. He will then reward each man according to his deeds.
When the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All nations will be gathered before him. He will then separate them one from another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.read more.
The King will say to those on his right hand: 'Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. I was hungry and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger and you took me in. I was naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you visited me. I was in prison and you came to me.'
Jesus said to his host: When you give a lunch or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or your rich neighbors. They will invite you back, and in this way you will be paid for what you did. When you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind. You will be blessed because they are not able to pay you back. God will repay you on the day the good people rise from death.
I have fought the good fight! I have finished the course! I have kept the faith! The crown of righteousness is laid up for me. The Lord, the righteous judge, will give it to me at that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing (manifestation).
When the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.
Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give to every man according as his work.
The word of Jehovah came to Abram in a vision: Do not be afraid, Abram; I am your shield. Your reward shall be very great.
My flesh and my heart fail: God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.

Not that I have already obtained, or am already made perfect. But I press on, that I may obtain that for which Christ Jesus also obtained. Brothers, I could not yet have obtained it. But one thing I do, I forget the things that are behind, and stretch forward to the things that are ahead. I press on toward the goal to the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Without faith it is impossible to please God. He who comes to God must believe that he is and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The devil (false accuser) (Devil) is about to throw you into prison, that you may be tested. You will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful even if you must die, and I will give you the crown of life.
