And at kings it doth scoff, And princes are a laughter to it, At every fenced place it doth laugh, And it heapeth up dust, and captureth it.

The peace of the wicked I see, That there are no bands at their death, And their might is firm. In the misery of mortals they are not, And with common men they are not plagued.read more.
Therefore hath pride encircled them, Violence covereth them as a dress. Their eye hath come out from fat. The imaginations of the heart transgressed; They do corruptly, And they speak in the wickedness of oppression, From on high they speak.

Why have nations tumultuously assembled? And do peoples meditate vanity? Station themselves do kings of the earth, And princes have been united together, Against Jehovah, and against His Messiah: 'Let us draw off Their cords, And cast from us Their thick bands.'read more.
