I, the prisoner in the Lord, exhort you therefore to walk worthy of the calling wherewith ye have been called,
with all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, bearing with one another in love;
To which end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of the calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness and the work of faith with power,
so as to walk worthily of the Lord unto all well-pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing by the true knowledge of God;
Wherefore the rather, brethren, use diligence to make your calling and election sure, for doing these things ye will never fall;
Only conduct yourselves worthily of the glad tidings of the Christ, in order that whether coming and seeing you, or absent, I may hear of what concerns you, that ye stand firm in one spirit, with one soul, labouring together in the same conflict with the faith of the glad tidings;
And Mano'ah said, "Now when your words come true, what is to be the boy's manner of life, and what is he to do?"
I pursue, looking towards the goal, for the prize of the calling on high of God in Christ Jesus.
