‘Ask of Me, and I will assuredly give [You] the nations as Your inheritance,And the ends of the earth as Your possession.

Now therefore, O kings, act wisely;Be instructed and take warning, O leaders (judges, rulers) of the earth.

The rulers do not know nor do they understand;They walk on in the darkness [of complacent satisfaction];All the foundations of the earth [the fundamental principles of the administration of justice] are shaken.

Arise, O God, judge the earth!For to You belong all the nations.

He waters the mountains from His upper chambers;The earth is satisfied with the fruit of His works.

He causes grass to grow for the cattle,And all that the earth produces for cultivation by man,So that he may bring food from the earth

He looks at the earth, and it trembles;He touches the mountains, and they smoke.

Let sinners be consumed from the earth,And let the wicked be no more.Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul.Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)

He is the Lord our God;His judgments are in all the earth.
