Our Assurance Of Eternal Life

¹² He who has the Son has the life; he who has not the Son of God has not the life. ¹³ I have written these words to you so that you may know that you have eternal life, you who believe in the name of the Son of God. ¹⁴ Now the confidence which we have in him is this, that he listens to us whenever we ask anything that is in accordance with his will.

He who believes on the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who does not believe God, has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son.
