Solomon's Provisions

¹⁹ Geber son of Uri: the region of Gilead, which had been ruled by King Sihon of the Amorites and King Og of Bashan. Besides these twelve, there was one governor over all the land. ²⁰ Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand that is on the seashore in abundance; they were eating and drinking and rejoicing. ²¹ Solomon's kingdom included all the nations from the Euphrates River to Philistia and the Egyptian border. They paid him taxes and were subject to him all his life.
