Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
2 Corinthians 1:4
comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
2 Corinthians 4:8
afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing;
2 Corinthians 7:4
Great is my
confidence in you; great is my boasting on your behalf. I am filled with comfort; I am overflowing with joy in all our affliction.
So they went on their way from the presence of the
Council, rejoicing that they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for His name.
And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;
Who will separate us from
the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
For to you
it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,
But even if I am being
poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and share my joy with you all.
Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of His body, which is the church, in filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions.
Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials,
1 Peter 1:6
In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials,
1 Peter 4:13
but to the degree that you
share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that also at the revelation of His glory you may rejoice with exultation.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for Most gladly, therefore, I will rather power is perfected in weakness.” boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
2 Corinthians 13:4
For indeed He was
crucified because of weakness, yet He lives because of the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, yet we will live with Him because of the power of God directed toward you.
be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.
