¹⁵ Moreover, they did not require an accounting from the men into whose hand they gave the money to pay to those who did the work, for they dealt faithfully. ¹⁶ The money from the guilt offerings and the money from the sin offerings was not brought into the house of the Lord; it was for the priests. ¹⁷ Then Hazael king of Aram went up and fought against Gath and captured it, and Hazael set his face to go up to Jerusalem.

Leviticus 7:7

The guilt offering is like the sin offering, there is one law for them; the priest who makes atonement with it shall have it.

Leviticus 5:15-18

“If a person acts unfaithfully and sins unintentionally against the Lord’s holy things, then he shall bring his guilt offering to the Lord: a ram without defect from the flock, according to your valuation in silver by shekels, in terms of the shekel of the sanctuary, for a guilt offering.

Leviticus 4:24

He shall lay his hand on the head of the male goat and slay it in the place where they slay the burnt offering before the Lord; it is a sin offering.

Leviticus 4:29

He shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering and slay the sin offering at the place of the burnt offering.

Numbers 5:8-10

But if the man has no relative to whom restitution may be made for the wrong, the restitution which is made for the wrong must go to the Lord for the priest, besides the ram of atonement, by which atonement is made for him.
