Arameans Plot To Take Elisha

⁹ Elisha sent word to the king of Israel. He warned him not to go near that place, because the Syrians were waiting to ambush him. ¹⁰ The king of Israel sent to the place about which the man of God had told him; thus he warned him, so that he guarded himself there, more than once or twice. ¹¹ The Syrian king was greatly upset over this. He called in his officers and asked them: Show me who of us is on the side of the king of Israel?
