Absalom Leads A Rebellion

9 Go in peace, the king said. So Absalom went to Hebron. 10 But Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, “As soon as you hear the sound of the trumpet, then you shall say, ‘Absalom is king in Hebron.’” 11 Absalom had two hundred men who at his invitation traveled from Jerusalem with him.
