¹ I charge thee before God, and Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom; ² preach the word, be urgent in season, out of season, confute, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and teaching. ³ For the time will come, when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own desires will they heap to themselves teachers; because they have itching ears;
