Then Jesus said to his disciples, If any one chooseth to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever chooseth to save his life will lose it; and whoever shall lose his life for my sake will find it. For what will a man be profited, if be gain the whole world, and forfeit his life? or what shall a man give as an exchange for his life?
And calling the multitude to him with his disciples also, he said to them, Whoever chooseth to follow me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever chooseth to save his life, will lose it; but whoever shall lose his life for the sake of me and of the glad tidings, will save it. For what doth it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life?

For whoever chooseth to save his life, will lose it; and whoever loseth his life for my sake, he will save it. For what is a man profited, if he gain the whole world, and lose or forfeit himself?
Jesus said to him, If thou wilt be perfect, go, sell what thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.
And Jesus looking at him, loved him, and said to him, One thing thou lackest; go, sell whatever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.
And Jesus hearing this said to him, One thing thou still lackest: sell all that thou hast, and distribute to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.
And as they were traveling on the way, one said to him, I will follow thee wherever thou goest. And Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have lodgingplaces; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. And he said to another, Follow me. But he said, Suffer me first to go and bury my father.read more.
And he said to him, Let the dead bury their own dead; but go thou and carry the tidings of the kingdom of God. Take heed to yourselves. If thy brother sin, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, spiritual songs, in grace singing in your hearts to God;
Moreover we exhort you, brethren, admonish the unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be forbearing to all.
And if any one obey not our word by this epistle, mark that man; and keep no company with him, that he may be shamed; yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
preach the word, be urgent in season, out of season, confute, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and teaching.
These things speak and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise thee.
A man that stirs up divisions, after a first and second admonition, avoid;
But Peter said, Ananias, why did Satan fill thy heart that thou shouldst lie to the Holy Spirit, and keep back part of the price of the land? While it remained, was it not thine own? And after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? Why didst thou conceive this thing in thy heart? Thou didst not lie to men, but to God.

For before certain persons came from James, he used to eat with the gentiles; but when they came, he withdrew, and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision. And the other Jews also dissembled with him; so that even Barnabas was carried away with their dissimulation.read more.
But when I saw that they were not walking uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in the presence of all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of gentiles, and not that of the Jews, how is it that thou compellest the gentiles to keep the customs of the Jews?
