Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
Judas and Silas, also being prophets themselves, encouraged and strengthened the brethren with a lengthy message.
And having spent some time there, he left and passed successively through the
Galatian region and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples.
Encourage the exhausted, and strengthen the feeble.
1 Corinthians 1:8
who will also confirm you to the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 3:2
and we sent
Timothy, our brother and God’s fellow worker in the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you as to your faith,

After you have suffered
for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.
Then when he arrived and
witnessed the grace of God, he rejoiced and began to encourage them all with resolute heart to remain true to the Lord;
Now when the meeting of the synagogue had broken up, many of the Jews and of the
God-fearing proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, were urging them to continue in the grace of God.
So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him,
“ If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine;
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.
if indeed you continue in
the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.
Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints.
“ Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.
Then Jesus said to His disciples,
“If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.
“You are those who have stood by Me in My trials;
Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to enter into His glory?”
He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal.
“ These things I have spoken to you so that you may be kept from stumbling.
and if children,
heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
1 Thessalonians 3:4
For indeed when we were with you, we kept telling you in advance that we were going to suffer affliction;
and so it came to pass, as you know.
2 Timothy 1:8
do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me His prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God,

It is a trustworthy statement:
if we died with Him, we will also live with Him;
