Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
you yourselves know the thing which took place throughout all Judea, starting from Galilee, after the baptism which John proclaimed.
For the king
knows about these matters, and I speak to him also with confidence, since I am persuaded that none of these things escape his notice; for this has not been done in a corner.
Now when John, while imprisoned, heard of the works of Christ, he sent word by his disciples
When the men came to Him, they said, “John the Baptist has sent us to You, to ask, ‘Are You the
Expected One, or do we look for someone else?’”
One of them, named Cleopas, answered and said to Him, “Are You

the people, who were with Him when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead, continued to testify about Him.
Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works.

God also testifying with them, both by
signs and wonders and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will.
Jesus was going through all the cities and villages,
