In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
Therefore, my brethren, you also were
made to die to the Law through the body of Christ, so that you might be joined to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.
by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace,
this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
In holiness and righteousness before Him all our days.
2 Corinthians 11:2
For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I
betrothed you to one husband, so that to Christ I might present you as a pure virgin.
He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love
that He might
present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.
1 Thessalonians 4:7
God has not called us for the purpose of impurity, but in sanctification.
gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.
