33 We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

33 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

33 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you,

33 We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, praying always for you,

44 having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and the love ye show to all the saints;

44 since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love which you have for all the saints;

44 Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

44 for we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints

44 because we have heard about your faith in the Messiah Jesus and the love that you have for all the saints,

55 because of the hope laid up for you in the heavens, which ye have heard before in the word of truth, the gospel,

55 because of the hope laid up for you in heaven, of which you previously heard in the word of truth, the gospel

55 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

55 because of the hope reserved for you in heaven. You have already heard about [this hope] in the message of truth, the gospel

55 based on the hope laid up for you in heaven. Some time ago you heard about this hope through the word of truth, the gospel

66 which is come unto you, as it is also unto all the world; and beareth fruit, as also among you, from the day that ye heard and knew the grace of God in truth;

66 which has come to you, just as in all the world also it is constantly bearing fruit and increasing, even as it has been doing in you also since the day you heard of it and understood the grace of God in truth;

66 Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

66 that has come to you. It is bearing fruit and growing all over the world, just as it has among you since the day you heard it and recognized God's grace in the truth.

66 that has come to you. Just as it is bearing fruit and spreading all over the world, so it has been doing among you from the day you heard it and came to know the grace of God in truth.

77 even as ye have learned from Epaphras our beloved fellow-labourer, who is a faithful minister of Christ for you;

77 just as you learned it from Epaphras, our beloved fellow bond-servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on our behalf,

77 As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

77 You learned this from Epaphras, our much loved fellow slave. He is a faithful minister of the Messiah on your behalf,

77 You learned about this gospel from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of the Messiah on your behalf.

88 who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.

88 and he also informed us of your love in the Spirit.

88 Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

88 and he has told us about your love in the Spirit.

88 He has told us about your love in the Spirit.

1010 that ye may walk worthy of the Lord, well pleasing him in all things, in every good work fruitful, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

1010 so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

1010 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

1010 so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing [to Him], bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God.

1010 so that you might live in a manner worthy of the Lord and be fully pleasing to him as you bear fruit while doing all kinds of good things and growing in the full knowledge of God.

1111 strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long-suffering with joy;

1212 giving thanks to God, even the Father, who hath made us meet for a portion in the inheritance of the saints in light;

1212 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

1212 giving thanks to the Father, who has enabled you to share in the saints' inheritance in the light.

1212 and might thank the Father, who has enabled us to share in the saints' inheritance in the light.

What God Has Done Through Christ

1313 who hath plucked us out from the dominion of darkness, and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of his love:

1313 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,

1313 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

1313 He has rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son He loves,

1313 God has rescued us from the power of darkness and has brought us into the kingdom of the Son whom he loves,

1414 in whom we have redemption through his blood, and forgiveness of sins.

1414 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

1414 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

1414 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

1414 through whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

The Centrality Of Christ

1515 Who is the image of the invisible God, the prime author of all creation:

1515 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

1515 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

1515 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation;

1515 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

1616 for by him were all things created, celestial and terrestrial, visible or invisible, whether thrones, or dominations, or principalities, or powers, all were created by him, and for him:

1616 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things have been created through Him and for Him.

1616 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

1616 because by Him everything was created, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities- all things have been created through Him and for Him.

1616 For by him all things in heaven and on earth were created, things visible and invisible, whether they are kings, lords, rulers, or powers. All things have been created through him and for him.

1717 and he is before all, and by him all things subsist.

1717 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

1717 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

1717 He is before all things, and by Him all things hold together.

1717 He himself existed before anything else did, and he holds all things together.

1818 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the first begotten from the dead, that he might be in all things pre-eminent.

1818 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.

1818 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

1818 He is also the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He might come to have first place in everything.

1818 He is also the head of the body, which is the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he himself might have first place in everything.

1919 For it hath pleased the Father that in him all fulness should dwell;

1919 For it was the Father's good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him,

1919 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

1919 For God was pleased [to have] all His fullness dwell in Him,

1919 For God was pleased to have all of his divine essence inhabit him.

2020 and by him to reconcile all things to himself, making peace by the blood of his cross: by him, I say, whether they be things on earth, or things in the heavens.

2020 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

2020 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

2020 and through Him to reconcile everything to Himself by making peace through the blood of His cross- whether things on earth or things in heaven.

2020 Through the Son, God also reconciled all things to himself, whether things on earth or things in heaven, thereby making peace through the blood of his cross.

2121 And you who in time past were all aliens, and enemies in mind by wicked works, hath he now reconciled,

2121 And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds,

2121 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

2121 And you were once alienated and hostile in mind because of your evil actions.

2121 You who were once alienated with a hostile attitude, doing evil,

2222 by the body of his flesh, through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and irreprehensible in his presence:

2222 yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach--

2222 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

2222 But now He has reconciled you by His physical body through His death, to present you holy, faultless, and blameless before Him-

2222 he has now reconciled by the death of his physical body, so that he may present you holy, blameless, and without fault before him.

2323 if ye abide in faith grounded and firm, and never moved aside from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which hath been preached to the whole creation which is under heaven, of which I Paul am a minister.

2323 if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

2323 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

2323 if indeed you remain grounded and steadfast in the faith, and are not shifted away from the hope of the gospel that you heard. [This gospel] has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and I, Paul, have become a minister of it.

2323 However, you must remain firmly established and steadfast in the faith, without being moved from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.

Paul's Suffering And Stewardship

2424 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh the measure of afflictions for Christ which remains to be endured for his body, which is the church,

2424 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of His body, which is the church, in filling up what is lacking in Christ's afflictions.

2424 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

2424 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and I am completing in my flesh what is lacking in Christ's afflictions for His body, that is, the church.

2424 Now I am rejoicing while suffering for you as I complete in my flesh whatever remains of the Messiah's sufferings on behalf of his body, which is the church.

2525 of which I am a minister, according to the dispensation of God, which was given me for you to fulfil the ministry of the word of God??26 the mystery which was hid from ages and from generations, but is now unveiled to his saints;

2525 Of this church I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, so that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God,

2525 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

2525 I have become its minister, according to God's administration that was given to me for you, to make God's message fully known,

2525 I became its servant as God commissioned me to work for you, so that I may complete my ministry of the word of God.

2626 to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

2626 that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints,

2626 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

2626 the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to His saints.

2626 This secret was hidden throughout the ages and generations but has now been revealed to his saints,

2727 whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus;

2727 to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

2727 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

2727 God wanted to make known to those among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

2727 to whom God wanted to make known the glorious riches of this secret among the gentiles which is the Messiah in you, our glorious hope.

2828 for which also I am labouring, conflicting in the energy of his might, which worketh in me powerfully.

2828 We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ.

2828 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

2828 We proclaim Him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ.

2828 It is he whom we proclaim as we admonish and wisely teach everyone, so that we may present everyone mature in the Messiah.
