Deuteronomy 28:21

Blessings And Curses

²⁰ “The Lord will send upon you curses, confusion, and rebuke in everything that you undertake to do, until you are destroyed, perishing quickly because of the evil of your deeds, because you have turned away from Me. ²¹ The Lord will make the pestilence and plague cling to you until He has consumed and eliminated you from the land which you are entering to possess. ²² The Lord will strike you with consumption [causing you to waste away] and with fever and with inflammation and with fiery heat and with the sword and with blight and with mildew [on your crops]; and they will pursue you until you perish.

Lord Shall

Leviticus 26:25

I will bring a sword on you that will execute vengeance for [breaking] the covenant; and when you gather together in your cities, I will send pestilence (virulent disease) among you, and you shall be handed over to the enemy.

Jeremiah 24:10

I will send the sword, famine and virulent disease among them until they are consumed from the land which I gave to them and to their fathers.’”

Numbers 14:12

I will strike them with the pestilence (plague) and dispossess them, and will make you into a nation greater and mightier than they.”

Exodus 5:3

Then they said, “The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Please, let us go on a three days’ journey into the wilderness and sacrifice to the Lord our God, so that He does not discipline us with pestilence or with the sword.”

Numbers 16:46-49

Moses said to Aaron, “Take a censer and put fire in it from the altar and lay incense on it; then bring it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them, for wrath has gone forth from the Lord; the plague has begun!”

Numbers 25:9

Nevertheless, those [Israelites] who died in the plague numbered 24,000.

2 Samuel 24:15

So the Lord sent a pestilence (plague) [lasting three days] upon Israel from the morning until the appointed time, and seventy thousand men of the people from Dan to Beersheba died.

Jeremiah 15:2

And it shall be that when they say to you, ‘Where should we go?’ then tell them, ‘Thus says the Lord:

“Those [destined] for death, to death;
Those for the sword, to the sword;
Those for famine, to famine;
Those for captivity, to captivity.”’

Jeremiah 16:4

“They will die of deadly diseases. They will not be mourned or buried; they will be like dung on the surface of the ground and come to an end by sword and famine, and their dead bodies will be food for the birds of the air and for the beasts of the earth.”

Jeremiah 21:6-7

I will also strike the inhabitants of this city, both man and beast; they will die of a great virulent disease.

Matthew 26:7

a woman came to Him with an alabaster vial of very expensive perfume and she poured it on Jesus’ head as He reclined at the table.
