Deuteronomy 3:25

Historical Prologue

²⁴ 'Lord Yahweh, you have begun to show your servant your greatness and your strong hand, for what god [is there] in the heaven or on the earth who can do according to your works and according to your mighty deeds? ²⁵ Let me cross over, please, and let me see the good land {that is beyond the Jordan}, this good hill country and Lebanon.' ²⁶ But Yahweh was very angry with me because of you, and he would not listen to me, and Yahweh said, '{Enough of that from you}! You shall not speak to me [any] longer about this matter!

Exodus 3:8

And I have come down to deliver them from the hand of [the] Egyptians and to bring them up from this land to a good and wide land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites.

Numbers 32:5

They said, "If we have found favor in {your sight}, let this land be given to your servants as property; do not lead us [across] the Jordan."

Deuteronomy 4:21-22

"And Yahweh was angry with me {because of you}, and he swore {that I would not cross the Jordan} and {that I would not go to the good land} that Yahweh your God is giving you as an inheritance.

Deuteronomy 11:11-12

But the land that you [are] about to cross into to take possession of it [is] a land of hills and valleys, [and] by the rain of the heaven it drinks water,

Ezekiel 20:6

On that day {I swore} to them to bring them out from the land of Egypt to [the] land that I had searched out for them, flowing with milk and honey--it [is the most] beautiful of all of the lands.
