Instructions For Making The Ark Of The Covenant

¹⁹ and set the one cherub on the one end and the other on the other end of the mercy seat: so see that thou make them on the two ends thereof. ²⁰ And the cherubims shall stretch their wings abroad over on high, and cover the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another: even to the mercy seat ward, shall the faces of the cherubims be. ²¹ And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark, and in the ark thou shalt put the witness which I will give thee.
