Plague One: Blood

¹³ However, Pharaoh’s heart hardened, and he did not listen to them, as the Lord had said. ¹⁴ Then the Lord said to Moses, “Pharaoh’s heart is hard: he refuses to let the people go. ¹⁵ Go to Pharaoh in the morning. When you see him walking out to the water, stand ready to meet him by the bank of the Nile. Take in your hand the staff that turned into a snake.

Exodus 8:15

But when Pharaoh saw there was relief, he hardened his heart and would not listen to them, as the Lord had said.

Zechariah 7:12

They made their hearts like a rock so as not to obey the law or the words that the Lord of Hosts had sent by His Spirit through the earlier prophets. Therefore great anger came from the Lord of Hosts.

Hebrews 12:25

Make sure that you do not reject the One who speaks. For if they did not escape when they rejected Him who warned them on earth, even less will we if we turn away from Him who warns us from heaven.
