1 God, who in ancient days spoke to our ancestors in the prophets, at many different times and by various methods, 2 has at the end of these days spoken to us in a Son whom he appointed heir of all things; through whom also he made the universe. 3 He being an emanation of God's glory and stamp of his substance, and upholding the universe by the utterances of his power, after by himself making purification of our sins, has taken his seat on the right hand of the Majesty on High.
