The Heavenly Ministry Of The New Covenant

²¹ and both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the service with blood in like manner he did sprinkle, ²² and with blood almost all things are purified according to the law, and apart from blood-shedding forgiveness doth not come. ²³ It is necessary, therefore, the pattern indeed of the things in the heavens to be purified with these, and the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these;

Leviticus 17:11

for the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar, to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood which maketh atonement for the soul.

Leviticus 4:20

'And he hath done to the bullock as he hath done to the bullock of the sin-offering, so he doth to it; and the priest hath made atonement for them, and it hath been forgiven them;
