Oracle Of Judgment On Damascus

² The cities of Aroer are forsaken; they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid. ³ “The fortified city will disappear from Ephraim,
And sovereignty from Damascus
And the remnant of Aram;
They will be like the glory of the sons of Israel,”
Declares the Lord of hosts.
⁴ And in that day it shall come to pass that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean.

Isaiah 7:16

For before the child shall know to refuse the evil and choose the good; the land that thou dost abhor shall be forsaken of both her kings.
