The Lord's New Glory For Zion

1 And seven women shall lay hold upon one man in that day, saying, We will eat our bread, and we will be clothed with our garments: only thy name shall be called upon us to take away our reproach.

1 For seven women will take hold of (A)one man in that day, saying, “We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothes, only let us be called by your name; (B)take away our reproach!”

1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

1 On that day seven womenwill seize one man,(A) saying,“We will eat our own breadand provide our own clothing.Just let us be called by your name.Take away our disgrace.”(B)

1 "At that time, seven women will cling tightly to one man and will make him this offer: "We'll provide our own bread. We'll provide our own clothes. Just let us marry you so we won't be stigmatized anymore.'"

The Glory Of The Branch Of Yahweh

2 In that day shall the springing up of Jehovah be for beauty and for glory, and the fruit of the earth for majesty and for ornament, for the escaping of Israel.

2 In that day the (C)Branch of the Lord will be beautiful and glorious, and the (D)fruit of the earth will be the pride and the adornment of the (E)survivors of Israel.

2 In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

2 On that day the Branch of(a) the Lord will be beautiful and glorious,(C) and the fruit of the land(D) will be the pride and glory(E) of Israel’s survivors.(F)

2 "At that time, the LORD's branch will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the pride and glory of the survivors of Israel and Judah.

3 And it was he being left in Zion and he remaining in Jerusalem, he shall say to him holy, all being written for their life in Jerusalem.

3 It will come about that he who is (F)left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called (G)holy—everyone who is (H)recorded for life in Jerusalem.

3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:

3 Whoever remains in Zion and whoever is left in Jerusalem(G) will be called holy(H)—all in Jerusalem who are destined to live(I)

3 Whoever survives in Zion and whoever remains in Jerusalem will be called holy everyone who has been appointed to survive in Jerusalem

4 When Jehovah washed out the excrements of the daughters of Zion, and he shall cleanse the blood of Jerusalem from her midst with the spirit of judgment, and with the spirit of burning.

4 When the Lord has washed away the filth of the (I)daughters of Zion and (a)purged the (J)bloodshed of Jerusalem from her midst, by the (K)spirit of judgment and the (L)spirit of burning,

4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

4 when the Lord has washed away the filth(J) of the daughters of Zion and cleansed the bloodguilt(K) from the heart of Jerusalem by a spirit of judgment(L) and a spirit of burning.(M)

4 when the LORD will have washed away the filth of the women of Zion, cleaning up Jerusalem's guilt by a spirit of judgment and a spirit of tempest.

5 And Jehovah created upon all the foundation of mount Zion and upon all her convocation, a cloud by day, and smoke, and the shining of afire of flame by night: and upon all the glory a covering.

5 then the Lord will create over the whole area of Mount Zion and over her assemblies (M)a cloud by day, even smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all the (N)glory will be a canopy.

5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.

5 Then the Lord will create(N) a cloud of smoke by day(O) and a glowing flame of fire by night over the entire site of Mount Zion and over its assemblies. For there will be a canopy over all the glory,(b)

5 Then the LORD will create over the entire site of Mount Zion including over those who assemble there a cloud by day

6 And a booth shall be for a shadow by day from heat, and for a refuge, and for a hiding place from the storm, and from rain.

6 There will be a (O)shelter to give shade from the heat by day, and refuge and (b)protection from the storm and the rain.

6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

6 and there will be a booth for shade from heat by day, and a refuge and shelter from storm and rain.(P)

6 and also to serve as a refuge and shelter from storms and rain."
