Israel's Sin And The Servant's Obedience

⁹ The Lord Jehovah helps me. Who will find me guilty? They will all wear out like a garment and moths will eat them. ¹⁰ Who is among you that fears the Lord,
That obeys the voice of His servant,
That walks in darkness and has no light?
Let him trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God.
¹¹ But all of you light fires and arm yourselves with flaming torches. So walk in your own light and among the torches you have lit. This is what you will receive from me: You will be tormented.

Isaiah 9:2

The people who walk in darkness (ignorance) (lies) have seen a great light (truth). A light has dawned on those who live in the land of the shadow of death (the grave) (calamity).

1 Samuel 30:6
