Yahweh's Day Of Vengeance
1 Who [is] this, coming from Edom, from Bozrah [in] bright red garments? [Who is] this honored in his garment, lying down in his great strength? "[It is] I, speaking in justice, {mighty} to save!"
1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
1 Who is this who comes from (A)Edom,With (B)garments of (a)glowing colors from (C)Bozrah,This One who is majestic in His apparel,(b)Marching in the greatness of His strength?“It is I who speak in righteousness, (D)mighty to save.”
1 Who is this coming from Edom(A)in crimson-stained garments from Bozrah—this One who is splendid in His apparel, rising up proudly(a) in His great might? It is I, proclaiming vindication,(b)powerful to save.
1 "Who is this coming from Edom, from Bozrah, in garments stained crimson? Who is this, robed in such splendor, marching in his great might? It is I, speaking in vindication, mighty to save.
3 "I have trodden [the] winepress alone, and there was no man from [the] peoples with me. And I trod them in my anger, and I trampled them in my wrath, and spattered their juice on my garments, and stained all my clothing,
3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
3 “(F)I have trodden the wine trough alone,And from the peoples there was no man with Me.I also (G)trod them in My angerAnd (H)trampled them in My wrath; And (I)their (c)lifeblood is sprinkled on My garments,And I (d)stained all My raiment.
3 I trampled the winepress alone, and no one from the nations was with Me.I trampled them in My angerand ground them underfoot in My fury;their blood spattered My garments, and all My clothes were stained.
3 "I have trodden the winepress alone, and from my people no one was with me, I trampled them in my anger and trod them down in my wrath; their lifeblood spattered on my garments, and I stained all my clothing.
5 And I looked, but there was no helper, and I was appalled, but there was no one who sustains, so my arm came to assist me, and my wrath {was what} sustained me.
5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
5 “I looked, and there was (K)no one to help,And I was astonished and there was no one to uphold; So My (L)own arm brought salvation to Me,And My wrath upheld Me.
5 I looked, but there was no one to help,(D)and I was amazed that no one assisted;so My arm accomplished victory for Me,and My wrath assisted Me.
5 I looked, but there was no helper, I was appalled that there was no one to give support; so my own arm brought me victory, and as for my wrath, it supported me.
6 And I trampled peoples in my anger, and I made them drunk in my wrath, and I brought their juice down to the earth."
6 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.
6 “I (M)trod down the peoples in My angerAnd made them (N)drunk in My wrath,And I (e)poured out their lifeblood on the earth.”
6 I crushed nations in My anger;I made them drunk with My wrath(E)and poured out their blood on the ground.(F)
6 I trampled people in my anger; in my wrath I made them drunk and I poured out their lifeblood on the ground."
