Jeremiah 49:26

A Message Concerning Damascus

²⁵ How [the] city of praise has not been abandoned! The city of my joy! ²⁶ {Therefore} her young men will fall in her public squares, and all {the soldiers} will perish in that day," {declares} Yahweh of hosts. ²⁷ "And I will kindle a fire at the wall of Damascus, and it will devour the citadel fortresses of Ben-hadad."

Jeremiah 50:30

{Therefore} her young men will fall in her public squares, and all {her soldiers} will perish on that day," {declares} Yahweh.

Jeremiah 11:22

{Therefore} thus says Yahweh of hosts: "Look, I [am about to] punish them. The young men will die by the sword. Their sons and their daughters will die by the famine.

Your wealth and your merchandise, your wares, your mariners, and your seamen, your shipwrights and the barterers of your wares and all of {your soldiers} who [are] in you, along with all of your crew who are in the midst of you, they will fall in [the] heart of [the] seas on the day of your downfall.
