And after He had
fasted forty days and forty nights, He then became hungry.
And behold, there arose
a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being covered with the waves; but Jesus Himself was asleep.
had to be made like His brethren in all things, so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
For we do not have
a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.
gave birth to her firstborn son; and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
And Jesus said to him,
“The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”
