Cleansing Of Skin Diseases
2 the following regulations about the ritual purification of those of you cured of a dreaded skin disease: On the day you are to be pronounced clean, you should be brought to the priest.
2 This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:
2 “This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing. (A)Now he shall be brought to the priest,
2 “This is the law(A) concerning the person afflicted with a skin disease on the day of his cleansing.(B) He is to be brought to the priest,(C)
2 "This is the law concerning those who have infectious skin diseases, after they have been cleansed:
3 The priest will take you outside the camp and examine you. If the disease is healed,
3 And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;
3 and the priest shall go (B)out to the outside of the camp. Thus the priest shall look, and if the (a)infection of leprosy has been healed in the leper,
3 who will go outside the camp(D) and examine him.(E) If the skin disease has disappeared from the afflicted person,(a)
3 The priest is to go outside the camp and examine the infectious skin disease to confirm that the person has been healed.
4 the priest will order that two ritually clean birds be brought, along with a piece of cedar wood, a red cord, and a sprig of hyssop.
4 Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:
4 then the priest shall give orders to take two live clean birds and (C)cedar wood and a (b)scarlet string and hyssop for the one who is to be cleansed.
4 the priest will order that two live clean birds,(F) cedar wood,(G) scarlet(H) yarn, and hyssop(I) be brought for the one who is to be cleansed.
4 If he has been healed, then the priest is to command that two live and clean birds, some cedar wood, some crimson thread, and hyssop be brought for the one cleansed.
5 The priest will order that one of the birds be killed over a clay bowl containing fresh spring water.
5 And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water:
5 The priest shall also give orders to slay the one bird in an earthenware vessel over (c)running water.
5 Then the priest will order that one of the birds be slaughtered over fresh water in a clay pot.
5 Then the priest is to command that one bird be slaughtered on an earthen vessel over flowing water.
6 He will take the other bird and dip it, together with the cedar wood, the red cord, and the hyssop, in the blood of the bird that was killed.
6 As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:
6 As for the live bird, he shall take it together with (D)the cedar wood and the (d)scarlet string and the (E)hyssop, and shall dip them and the live bird in the blood of the bird that was slain over the (e)running water.
6 He is to take the live bird together with the cedar wood, scarlet yarn, and hyssop, and dip them all into the blood of the bird that was slaughtered over the fresh water.
6 He is to take the live bird, the cedar wood, the crimson thread, and the hyssop, and dip them together in the blood of the bird that had been slaughtered over the flowing water.
7 He will sprinkle the blood seven times on the one of you who is to be purified from your skin disease. He will then pronounce you clean. He will let the live bird fly away over the open fields.
7 And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.
7 (F)He shall then sprinkle seven times the one who is to be cleansed from the leprosy and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the live bird go free over the open field.
7 He will then sprinkle the blood seven times on the one who is to be cleansed from the skin disease. He is to pronounce him clean and release the live bird over the open countryside.(J)
7 He is to sprinkle the blood seven times on the person with the infectious skin disease and then pronounce him clean. Then he is to release the live bird into the open fields.
The Seven Days Of Purification
8 You must wash your clothes, shave off all your hair, and take a bath. You will then be ritually clean. You may enter the camp. You must live outside your tent for seven days.
8 And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.
8 (G)The one to be cleansed shall then wash his clothes and shave off all his hair and bathe in water and (H)be clean. Now afterward, he may enter the camp, but he (I)shall stay outside his tent for seven days.
8 The one who is to be cleansed must wash his clothes, shave off all his hair, and bathe with water; he is clean. Afterward he may enter the camp, but he must remain outside his tent for seven days.
8 The person who is clean is to wash his clothes, shave all his hair, and bathe in water, after which he is to be declared clean. Then he can be brought back to the camp, but he is to remain outside his tent for seven days.
9 On the seventh day you should again shave your head, your beard, your eyebrows, and all the rest of the hair on your body. You should wash your clothes and take a bath. Then you will be ritually clean.
9 But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.
9 It will be on the seventh day that he shall shave off all his hair: he shall shave his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair. He shall then wash his clothes and bathe his (f)body in water and (J)be clean.
9 He is to shave off all his hair again on the seventh day: his head, his beard, his eyebrows, and the rest of his hair. He is to wash his clothes and bathe himself with water; he is clean.
9 On the seventh day, he is to shave the hair on his head, chin, back, and eyebrows. After he has shaved all his hair, washed his clothes, and bathed himself with water, then he will be clean."
The Eighth Day Atonement Rituals
10 The eighth day bring two male lambs and one female lamb a year old that are without any defects. Also bring five pounds of flour mixed with olive oil, and half a pint of olive oil.
10 And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.
10 “Now on the eighth day he is to take two male lambs without defect, and a yearling ewe lamb without defect, and three-tenths of an (g)ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, and one (h)(K)log of oil;
10 “On the eighth day he must take two unblemished(K) male lambs, an unblemished year-old ewe lamb, a grain offering of three quarts(b) of fine flour mixed with olive oil, and one-third of a quart(c) of olive oil.
10 "On the eighth day, he is to take two lambs without defect, a one year old ewe lamb without defect, one third of a measure of fine flour mixed with olive oil for a meal offering, and one log of oil.
11 The priest will take you and these offerings to the entrance of the Tent of Jehovah's presence.
11 And the priest that maketh him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
11 and the priest who pronounces him clean shall present the man to be cleansed and the (i)aforesaid before the Lord at the doorway of the tent of meeting.
11 The priest who performs the cleansing will place the person who is to be cleansed, together with these offerings, before the Lord at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
11 The priest who will pronounce him clean is to present the person to be cleansed and these offerings in the LORD's presence at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
12 Then the priest will take one of the male lambs and together with the half pint of oil he will offer it as a repayment offering. He will present them as a special gift to Jehovah for the priest.
12 And the priest shall take one he lamb, and offer him for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:
12 Then the priest shall take the one male lamb and bring it for a (L)guilt offering, with the (j)(M)log of oil, and present them as a (N)wave offering before the Lord.
12 The priest is to take one male lamb and present it as a restitution offering,(L) along with the one-third quart(d) of olive oil, and he must wave them as a presentation offering(M) before the Lord.
12 The priest is to take one of the lambs and present it as a guilt offering, along with one log of olive oil, which he is to wave as a raised offering in the LORD's presence.
13 He will slaughter the lamb in the holy place where the animals for the sin offerings and the burnt offerings are slaughtered. He must do this because the repayment offering, like the sin offering, belongs to the priest and is very holy.
13 And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest's, so is the trespass offering: it is most holy:
13 Next he shall slaughter the male lamb in (O)the place where they slaughter the sin offering and the burnt offering, at the place of the sanctuary—for the guilt offering, (P)like the sin offering, belongs to the priest; it is most holy.
13 He is to slaughter the male lamb at the place in the sanctuary area where the sin offering(N) and burnt offering(O) are slaughtered,(P) for like the sin offering, the restitution offering belongs to the priest;(Q) it is especially holy.(R)
13 Then he is to slaughter the lamb in the place where he slaughtered the sin and burnt offerings that is, at a place in the sanctuary. Just as the sin offering is for the priest, so also is the guilt offering. It's a most holy thing.
14 The priest will take some of the blood from the guilt offering and put it on the right ear lobe, on the right thumb, and on the big toe of the right foot of the one to be cleansed.
14 And the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:
14 The priest shall then take some of the blood of the (Q)guilt offering, and the priest shall put it on (R)the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot.
14 The priest is to take some of the blood from the restitution offering and put it on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.(S)
14 "Then the priest is to take some of the blood from the guilt offering and place it on the right earlobe of the person to be cleansed, on his right thumb, and on his right great toe.
15 The priest will also take some of the olive oil and pour it into his own left hand.
15 And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand:
15 Then the priest will take some of the one-third quart(e) of olive oil and pour it into his left palm.
15 Then the priest is to take some of the log of olive oil and pour it into his own left hand.
16 He will dip his right finger in the oil in his left hand, and with his finger sprinkle some of the oil seven times in Jehovah's presence.
16 And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD:
16 the priest shall then dip his right-hand finger into the oil that is in his left palm, and with his finger sprinkle some of the oil seven times before the Lord.
16 The priest will dip his right finger into the oil in his left palm and sprinkle some of the oil with his finger seven times before the Lord.
16 The priest is to dip his right finger in the olive oil that is in his left palm and sprinkle some of the olive oil with his finger seven times in the LORD's presence.
17 The priest will put some of the oil that is still in his hand on the right ear lobe, on the right thumb, and on the big toe of the right foot of the one to be cleansed. These are the same places he had put the blood of the guilt offering.
17 And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering:
17 Of the remaining oil which is in his palm, the priest shall put some on the right ear lobe of the one to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on the blood of the guilt offering;
17 From the oil remaining in his palm the priest will put some on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on top of the blood of the restitution offering.(T)
17 "As to the remainder of the olive oil in his palm, he is to place some on the right earlobe of the person to be cleansed, on his right thumb, on his right great toe, and on the blood of the guilt offering.
18 The priest will put the rest of the oil in his hand on the head of the one to be cleansed. So he will pay compensation for wrongdoing and make peace with Jehovah for that person in Jehovah's presence.
18 And the remnant of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD.
18 while the rest of the oil that is in the priest’s palm, he shall put on the head of the one to be cleansed. So the priest shall make (T)atonement on his behalf before the Lord.
18 What is left of the oil in the priest’s palm he is to put on the head of the one to be cleansed. In this way the priest will make atonement for him before the Lord.
18 Then he is to place the rest of the oil in his palm on the head of the person to be cleansed, thus making atonement for him in the LORD's presence.
19 The priest will also sacrifice the offering for sin to make peace with Jehovah for the one who is being cleansed from his impurity. After that, he will slaughter the burnt offering.
19 And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering:
19 The priest shall next offer the (U)sin offering and make atonement for the one to be cleansed from his uncleanness. Then afterward, he shall slaughter the burnt offering.
19 The priest must sacrifice the sin offering and make atonement for the one to be cleansed from his uncleanness.(U) Afterward he will slaughter the burnt offering.
19 This is how the priest is to present the sin offering to make atonement for the person being cleansed of his impurity. After this, he is to slaughter the whole burnt offering.
20 He will sacrifice the burnt offering and the grain offering on the altar. So the priest will pay compensation for the wrong and make peace with Jehovah for that person. The person who had the skin disease will be clean.
20 And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meat offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and he shall be clean.
20 The priest shall offer up the burnt offering and the grain offering on the altar. Thus the priest shall make atonement for him, and (V)he will be clean.
20 The priest is to offer the burnt offering and the grain offering on the altar. The priest will make atonement for him, and he will be clean.(V)
20 The priest is to offer both the whole burnt and the grain offerings on the altar. After the priest makes atonement for him, he will be clean."
The Eighth Day Atonement Rituals For The Poor Person
21 If the one to be cleansed is poor and cannot afford that much, he must take one male lamb, present it to pay compensation for the wrong and make peace with Jehovah for himself, and use it for his guilt offering. He will take only eight cups of flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering, a quart of olive oil,
21 And if he be poor, and cannot get so much; then he shall take one lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make an atonement for him, and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering, and a log of oil;
21 “(W)But if he is poor and his (l)means are insufficient, then he is to take one male lamb for a (X)guilt offering as a wave offering to make atonement for him, and one-tenth of an (m)ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, and a (n)(Y)log of oil,
21 “But if he is poor(W) and cannot afford these,(f)(X) he is to take one male lamb for a restitution offering to be waved in order to make atonement for him, along with two quarts(g) of fine flour mixed with olive oil for a grain offering, one-third of a quart(h) of olive oil,
21 "If the offeror is poor and cannot afford the regular offering, then he is to take one lamb for a guilt offering that will be presented in the form of a wave offering to atone for him, one tenth of a measure of fine flour mixed with olive oil for a grain offering, one log of olive oil,
22 and two mourning doves or two pigeons, whatever he can afford. The one will be an offering for sin and the other a burnt offering.
22 And two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.
22 and two turtledoves or two young pigeons which (o)are within his means, (Z)the one shall be a (AA)sin offering and the other a burnt offering.
22 and two turtledoves or two young pigeons, whatever he can afford,(i) one to be a sin offering and the other a burnt offering.
22 and two turtledoves or two young pigeons, whichever he can afford. One is for a sin offering and the other is for a whole burnt offering.
23 The eighth day he will take them to the priest for his cleansing at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting in Jehovah's presence.
23 And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD.
23 (AB)Then the eighth day he shall bring them for his cleansing to the priest, at the doorway of the tent of meeting, before the Lord.
23 On the eighth day he is to bring these things for his cleansing to the priest at the entrance to the tent of meeting before the Lord.
23 "On the eighth day, he is to bring them for cleansing to the priest in the LORD's presence at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
24 The priest will take the lamb for the guilt offering and the quart of olive oil and present them to Jehovah.
24 And the priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:
24 The priest shall take the lamb of the guilt offering and (AC)the (p)log of oil, and the priest shall offer them for a wave offering before the Lord.
24 The priest will take the male lamb for the restitution offering and the one-third quart(j) of olive oil, and wave them as a presentation offering before the Lord.
24 The priest is to take the lamb for a guilt offering and the olive oil and wave them as a raised offering in the LORD's presence.
25 He will slaughter the lamb as a guilt offering. The priest will take some of the blood of the guilt offering and put it on the right ear lobe, on the right thumb, and on the big toe of the right foot of the one to be cleansed.
25 And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:
25 Next he shall slaughter the lamb of the guilt offering; and the priest is to take some of the blood of the guilt offering and put it on (AD)the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed and on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot.
25 After he slaughters the male lamb for the restitution offering, the priest is to take some of the blood of the restitution offering and put it on the right earlobe of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
25 Then he is to take the lamb for the guilt offering and place some blood from the guilt offering on the right earlobe of the person to be cleansed, on his right thumb, and on his right great toe.
26 The priest will pour some of the olive oil into his own left hand.
26 And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand:
26 The priest shall also pour some of the oil into his left palm;
26 Then the priest will pour some of the oil into his left palm.
26 Then the priest is to pour olive oil into his left palm
27 In Jehovah's presence he will sprinkle some of the oil with his right finger seven times.
27 And the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the LORD:
27 and with his right-hand finger the priest shall sprinkle some of the oil that is in his left palm seven times before the Lord.
27 With his right finger the priest will sprinkle some of the oil in his left palm seven times before the Lord.
27 and use his right finger to sprinkle oil from his left palm seven times in the LORD's presence.
28 The priest will put some of the oil that is in his hand on the right ear lobe, on the right thumb, and on the big toe of the right foot of the one to be cleansed. These are the same places he had put the blood of the guilt offering.
28 And the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering:
28 The priest shall then put some of the oil that is in his palm on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the guilt offering.
28 The priest will also put some of the oil in his palm on the right earlobe of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on the same place as the blood of the restitution offering.
28 The priest is to place oil from his palm on the right earlobe of the person being cleansed, on his right thumb, on his right great toe, and where the blood for the guilt offering is poured.
29 In Jehovah's presence, the priest will pour the rest of the oil in his hand on the head of the one to be cleansed in order to make a payment for him.
29 And the rest of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed, to make an atonement for him before the LORD.
29 Moreover, the rest of the oil that is in the priest’s palm he shall put on the head of the one to be cleansed, to make atonement on his behalf before the Lord.
29 What is left of the oil in the priest’s palm he is to put on the head of the one to be cleansed to make atonement for him before the Lord.(Y)
29 "As to the remainder of the oil in his palm, the priest is to use it to anoint the head of the person to be cleansed, in order to make atonement for him in the LORD's presence.
30 The one to be cleansed must take one of the mourning doves or pigeons, the one he can afford,
30 And he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he can get;
30 He must then sacrifice one type of what he can afford,(k) either the turtledoves or young pigeons,
30 Then he is to offer one of the turtledoves orthe young pigeons, whichever he can afford.
31 and sacrifice it as an offering for sin. He will take the other and sacrifice it as a burnt offering together with the grain offering. So in Jehovah's presence the priest will pay compensation for the wrong and make peace with Jehovah for the one who is being cleansed.
31 Even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meat offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed before the LORD.
31 He shall offer what (r)he can afford, (AE)the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering, together with the grain offering. So the priest shall make atonement before the Lord on behalf of the one to be cleansed.
31 one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, sacrificing what he can afford(l)(m) together with the grain offering. In this way the priest will make atonement before the Lord for the one to be cleansed.
31 Based on what he can afford, one is for a sin offering and the other is for a whole burnt offering. Along with the grain offering, the priest is to make atonement for the person to be cleansed in the LORD's presence.
32 These are the instructions for one who has an infectious skin disease but cannot afford what is needed for his cleansing.
32 This is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose hand is not able to get that which pertaineth to his cleansing.
32 This is the law for him in whom there is an infection of leprosy, whose (s)means are limited for his cleansing.”
32 This is the law for someone who has(n) a skin disease and cannot afford(o) the cost of his cleansing.”
32 This is the regulation concerning one who has an infectious skin disease but who cannot afford his cleansing."
Instructions For Cleansing Houses
34 When you come to Canaan that I am going to give to you, mildew may appear in a house.
34 When ye be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession;
34 “(AF)When you enter the land of Canaan, which I give you for a possession, and I put a mark of leprosy on a house in the land of your possession,
34 “When you enter the land of Canaan(Z) that I am giving you as a possession,(AA) and I place a mildew contamination in a house in the land you possess,(p)
34 "When you enter the land of Canaan that I'm about to give you as your own possession, and if I put a contagion in a house in the land that you possess,
35 The owner of that house must come and tell the priest that there is something that looks like mildew in his house.
35 And he that owneth the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, It seemeth to me there is as it were a plague in the house:
35 then the one who owns the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, ‘Something like (AG)a mark of leprosy has become visible to me in the house.’
35 the owner of the house is to come and tell the priest: Something like mildew contamination has appeared(q) in my house.
35 then the owner of the house is to approach the priest and tell him, "There appears to be a contagion in the house.'
36 Before the priest examines the house, he will order everything taken out of it so that nothing in the house will become unclean. Then the priest will go inside to examine the house.
36 Then the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house:
36 The priest shall then command that they empty the house before the priest goes in to look at the mark, so that everything in the house need not become unclean; and afterward the priest shall go in to look at the house.
36 The priest must order them to clear the house before he enters to examine the contamination, so that nothing in the house becomes unclean. Afterward the priest will come to examine the house.
36 "The priest is to command that the house be cleared before he comes to examine the contagion so that not everything in the house becomes unclean. After this, the priest is to enter the house and examine it.
37 He will examine the mildew area on the walls. If it is green and red in sunken areas that are deeper than the rest of the wall,
37 And he shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall;
37 So he shall look at the mark, and if the mark on the walls of the house has greenish or reddish depressions and appears deeper than the (t)surface,
37 He will examine it, and if the contamination in the walls of the house consists of green or red indentations(r) that appear to be beneath the surface of the wall,
37 He is to determine if the contagion is indeed on the walls of the house, with greenish or reddish streaks, and to determine if it appears to be deeper than the surface of the wall.
38 the priest will go out to the door of the house and close up the house for seven days.
38 Then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days:
38 then the priest shall come out of the house, to the (u)doorway, and (v)quarantine the house for seven days.
38 the priest is to go outside the house to its doorway and quarantine the house for seven days.
38 The priest is to leave through the entrance to the house and seal the house for seven days.
39 The priest will go back and examine it again on the seventh day. If the mildew in the walls of the house has spread,
39 And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look: and, behold, if the plague be spread in the walls of the house;
39 The priest shall return on the seventh day and (w)make an inspection. If the mark has indeed spread in the walls of the house,
39 The priest is to return on the seventh day and examine it. If the contamination has spread on the walls of the house,
39 He is to return after seven days to examine it. If the contagion has spread to the walls of the house,
40 he must order the stones that have the mildew to be torn out and thrown outside the city in an unclean place.
40 Then the priest shall command that they take away the stones in which the plague is, and they shall cast them into an unclean place without the city:
