Blood, Hair, And Body

²⁵ You may eat the fruit in the fifth year. Do this to make the trees produce more for you. I am Jehovah your God. ²⁶ ‘You shall not eat anything with the blood, nor practice divination or soothsaying. ²⁷ Do not shave the hair on your foreheads. Do not cut the edges of your beard.

Deuteronomy 12:23

Make sure you never eat blood, because blood contains life. Never eat the life with the meat.

2 Kings 17:17

They caused their sons and their daughters to go through the fire to be sacrificed. They made use of secret arts and unnatural powers, and gave themselves up to doing evil in the eyes of Jehovah, till they provoked him to anger.

2 Kings 21:6

2 Chronicles 33:6

He burned his son as a sacrifice in the valley of Ben Hinnom, he consulted fortunetellers, and he cast evil spells. He also practiced witchcraft, and appointed royal mediums and psychics. He did many things that made Jehovah furious.

Then Pharaoh sent for his wise men and sorcerers. These Egyptian magicians did the same thing using their magic spells.

The Chaldeans answered: There is no man on earth who can do what the king requires. No king, lord, or ruler, has asked such a thing of any magician, or enchanter, or Chaldean.

Malachi 3:5

I will approach you people for judgment! I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, the adulterers and those acting fraudulently with the wages of the worker, the widow and the fatherless.
