1 And when a soul shall bring near an offering, a gift to Jehovah, his offering shall be fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and give frankincense upon it
1 And when any will offer a meat offering unto the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon:
1 "When a person brings an offering that is, a grain offering to the LORD, his offering is to consist of fine flour. He is to pour olive oil mixed with frankincense over it.
2 And he brought it to Aaron's sons the priests: and he pressed together from it his hand full from its fine flour, and from its oil, upon all its frankincense, and the priest burnt its memorial upon the altar, a sacrifice, an odor of sweetness to Jehovah.
2 He shall then bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests; and shall take from it (B)his handful of its fine flour and of its oil with all of its frankincense. And the priest shall offer it up in smoke as its (C)memorial portion on the altar, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the Lord.
2 And he shall bring it to Aaron's sons the priests: and he shall take thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD:
2 and bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests. The priest will take a handful of fine flour and oil from it, along with all its frankincense, and will burn this memorial portion(E) of it on the altar, a fire offering of a pleasing aroma to the Lord.
2 Then he is to bring it to Aaron's sons, the priests. He is to take a handful of fine flour, the olive oil, and all of the frankincense. Then the priest is to offer a memorial offering by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
3 And the remainder from the gift, to Aaron and his sons; holy of holies from the sacrifice to Jehovah.
3 And the remnant of the meat offering shall be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.
3 The remnants from the grain offering is for Aaron and his sons the holiest of the offerings made by fire to the LORD."
4 And when thou shalt bring an offering, a gift, a baking of the oven, fine flour of unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and thin unleavened cakes anointed with oil.
4 And if thou bring an oblation of a meat offering baken in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.
4 "When you bring an offering that is, a grain offering baked in an oven it is to consist of fine flour baked into unleavened bread mixed with olive oil or of wafers made of unleavened bread and smeared with olive oil.
5 And if a gift upon the frying pan their offering, fine flour mingled with oil, unleavened it shall be.
5 And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in a pan, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.
5 "If your grain offering has been prepared on a griddle, then it is to consist of fine flour mixed with olive oil.
6 Break it to bits and pour oil upon it: it is a gift
6 you shall break it into bits and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering.
6 Thou shalt part it in pieces, and pour oil thereon: it is a meat offering.
6 Break it into pieces and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering.
6 Crumble it into morsels of bread and then pour olive oil on it. It's a grain offering.
7 And if a gift of the pot thine offering, fine flour with oil it shall be made.
7 And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in the fryingpan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.
7 "When your grain offering has been prepared in a stew pan, it is to consist of fine flour mixed with olive oil.
8 And bring the gift which shall be made from these to Jehovah: and bring it near to the priest, and he brought it near to the altar.
8 When you bring in the grain offering which is made of these things to the Lord, it shall be presented to the priest and he shall bring it to the altar.
8 And thou shalt bring the meat offering that is made of these things unto the LORD: and when it is presented unto the priest, he shall bring it unto the altar.
8 Bring the grain offering that you prepared from these ingredients to the LORD. Present it to the priest, who will bring it to the altar.
9 And the priest lifted up from the gift its memorial, and burnt upon the altar: a sacrifice, an odor of sweetness to Jehovah.
9 And the priest shall take from the meat offering a memorial thereof, and shall burn it upon the altar: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
9 Then the priest will dedicate some of the grain offering as a memorial offering and offer it in smoke on the altar, an offering by fire that will be a pleasing aroma to the LORD.
10 And the remainder from the gift for Aaron and for his sons: holy of holies, from the sacrifices to Jehovah.
10 And that which is left of the meat offering shall be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.
10 The remainder from the memorial offering is for Aaron and his sons the holiest of the offerings made by fire to the LORD."
11 Every gift which ye shall bring near to Jehovah shall not be made leavened: for all leaven and all honey ye shall not burn from it a sacrifice to Jehovah.
11 No meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the LORD, shall be made with leaven: for ye shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire.
11 "Any grain offering that you bring to the LORD is not to be prepared with yeast, because anything with leaven and honey may not be offered in smoke as an offering by fire to the LORD.
12 The offering of the first fruits ye shall bring them near to Jehovah: and to the altar they shall not go up for an odor of sweetness.
12 As for the oblation of the firstfruits, ye shall offer them unto the LORD: but they shall not be burnt on the altar for a sweet savour.
12 You may bring them to the LORD as an offering of first fruits, but they are not to be offered on the altar for a pleasing aroma."
13 And every offering of thy gift, thou shalt salt with salt; and thou shalt not cause the salt of the covenant of thy God to cease from thy gift: upon every offering of thine thou shalt bring near salt
13 Every grain offering of yours, moreover, you shall season with salt, so that (N)the salt of the covenant of your God shall not be lacking from your grain offering; with all your offerings you shall offer salt.
13 And every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.
13 You are to season each of your grain offerings with salt; you must not omit from your grain offering the salt of the covenant(P) with your God. You are to present salt(f) with each of your offerings.
13 "Also, be sure to rub every offering from your grain offering with salt. You are not ever to remove the salt of the covenant of your God from your grain offering. Present all your offerings with salt."
14 And if thou shalt bring near a gift of the first fruits to Jehovah, green ears parched in the fire, grits of early grain crushed shalt thou bring near, the gift of thy first fruits.
14 ‘Also if you bring a grain offering of early ripened things to the Lord, you shall bring (O)fresh heads of grain roasted in the fire, grits of new growth, for the grain offering of your early ripened things.
14 And if thou offer a meat offering of thy firstfruits unto the LORD, thou shalt offer for the meat offering of thy firstfruits green ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten out of full ears.
14 “If you present a grain offering of firstfruits to the Lord, you must present fresh heads of grain, crushed kernels, roasted on the fire, for your grain offering of firstfruits.
14 "Whenever you bring a grain offering of first fruits to the LORD, bring fresh barley roasted in fire, young kernels crushed into bits. Bring the grain offering with your first fruits
15 And give oil upon it and put frankincense upon: it is a gift.
15 You shall then put oil on it and lay incense on it; it is a grain offering.
15 And thou shalt put oil upon it, and lay frankincense thereon: it is a meat offering.
15 You are to put oil and frankincense on it; it is a grain offering.
15 and then pour olive oil and frankincense over it as a grain offering.
16 And the priest burnt its memorial from its crushing and from its oil, upon all its frankincense: a sacrifice to Jehovah.
16 And the priest shall burn the memorial of it, part of the beaten corn thereof, and part of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
16 The priest will then burn some of its crushed kernels and oil with all its frankincense as a fire offering to the Lord.
16 The priest is to offer the memorial offering in smoke its crushed bits, olive oil, and frankincense as an offering by fire to the LORD."
