The Seventy-Two Appointed And Sent Out

¹ After this the Lord appointed seventy others and sent them on before Him, two by two, to every town or place which He was going to visit. ² So He was saying to them: "The harvest is plentiful, but the reapers are scarce. So pray the Lord of the harvest to send out reapers to His harvest-field. ³ Go on. Listen! I am sending you out as lambs surrounded by wolves.
