The Rich Man And Lazarus

¹⁸ A man who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery. The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. [Jesus continued to tell illustrations.] ¹⁹ “Now there was a rich man, and he habitually dressed in purple and fine linen, joyously living in splendor every day. ²⁰ A poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, used to be brought to the rich man's door.
