The Parable Of The Weeds Among The Wheat

²⁴ Another parable he propos'd to them in these words. the state of the gospel in this world may be compar'd to a man who sowed good grain in his field: ²⁵ but while the people slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. ²⁶ but when the blade was sprung up, and bore grain, the tares appeared too.
