²⁰ The young man said, "I have kept all these commandments; what more do I lack?" ²¹ Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go and sell everything you have and give the money to the poor, and you will have riches in heaven; then come back here and follow me." ²² And when the young man heard that, he went away in deep distress, for he owned a great deal of property.
