Matthew 28:6

Jesus Is Raised

⁵ The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know you are looking for Jesus, who has been crucified. ⁶ He is not here, for He has risen just as He said [He would]. Come and see the place where the Lord had been lying, ⁷ then go quickly and tell His disciples, 'He has risen from the dead and is [now] going on ahead of you into Galilee. You will see Him there.' Now [that is all] I have to tell you."

Matthew 16:21

From that time onward Jesus began to explain to His disciples that He would have to go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the [Jewish] elders, leading priests, and experts in the law of Moses; [that He would then] be killed and [yet] raised up on the third day.

Matthew 27:63

and said, "Sir, we remember what that deceiver said while he was still alive: 'I will rise [from the dead] after three days.'

Matthew 12:40

For just like Jonah was in the stomach of the huge fish for three days and nights, so the Son of man will be in the heart of the earth [i.e., the cave-tomb] for three days and nights.

When they did not find Jesus' body they came and told us that they had also seen a vision of angels who said Jesus was alive.
