²³ But if your eye is wicked, your body will be in darkness. If that light in you is really darkness, how great a darkness it must be. ²⁴ “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth. ²⁵ I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink. And do not worry about your body, what you will wear. Is life worth more than food? And is the body worth more than clothes?

Luke 16:13

No one can serve two masters. He will hate one and love the other. He will be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
