Demon-Possessed Gadarenes Healed

²⁹ And they screamed out, “What business do we have [in common] with each other, Son of God? Have You come to torment us before the appointed time [of judgment]?” ³⁰ Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was grazing. ³¹ The demons began begging Him, “If You drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”

Now there was a large herd of pigs grazing there on the mountain.

Luke 8:32

Now a large herd of pigs was feeding there on the mountain. The demons begged Jesus to allow them to enter the pigs, and He gave them permission.

So he went and forced himself on one of the citizens of that country, who sent him into his fields to feed pigs.
