And it was set on David's head, and he also brought exceeding much spoil out of the city. And he brought out the people who were in it. And they sawed with saws and with sharp tools of iron, and with the axes. And so David did with the cities of the sons of Ammon. And David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.
And God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians who lived in Gurbaal, and the Meunites. And the Ammonites paid tribute to Uzziah. And his name spread abroad even to the entrance of Egypt, for he was made very strong.
