them also, did King David hallow unto Yahweh, with the silver and the gold, that he bare away from all the nations, - from Edom, and from Moab, and from the sons of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from Amalek.
Moreover, Abishai, son of Zeruiah, smote Edom, in the Valley of Salt, - eighteen thousand;
And he put garrisons in Edom; and all they of Edom became servants to David. And Jehovah preserved David whithersoever he went.
And, Obed-edom, had sons, - Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Josh the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth;
the sixth Ammiel, the seventh Issachar, and the eighth Peullethai. (Indeed, God blessed Obed-Edom.)
